There are a couple of things you can check to make sure the Client IP address is properly setup:
1. Make sure the correct URL or IP address for the CMC is entered into the Management Server tab of the Default Settings.
2. Make sure the Backup Client Agent service is started in the Windows Services.
3. Refresh the CMC browser session (F5 will work for this).
4. Test your connection to the CMC server from the client server using telnet. From command line run
"Telnet <server ip> 4502" If you receive a blank black connection screen you know there are not any
port blocking problems.
*Note that on Windows7 and Windows Server 2008 telnet is not installed by default and you need to add that client app from the features option within Windows
