NovaBACKUP Disaster Recovery Boot Disc Methods

Starting in version 14.5 of NovaBACKUP there are now two different methods to create the Disaster Recovery Boot Disc (either using the Windows Automated Installation Kit - AIK, or using the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit - ADK).  
Depending on which Operating System you are using, you may be able to use the Windows ADK which is a smaller, faster Disaster Recovery Boot Disc Creation.  Please see the chart below:

Windows XP
  • Basic: No
  • Advanced: Yes (AIK)
Windows Vista
  • Basic: No
  • Advanced: Yes (AIK)
Windows 7
  • Basic: Yes
  • Advanced: Yes (ADK)
Windows 8
  • Basic: Yes
  • Advanced: Yes (ADK)
Server 2008 (Pre-R2)
  • Basic: No
  • Advanced: Yes (AIK)
Server 2008 R2
  • Basic: Yes
  • Advanced: Yes (ADK)
Server 2012
  • Basic: Yes
