What's new in NovaBACKUP version 16.0?

This information is not (yet) publicly available but will focus strongly on enhancing NovaBACKUP's virtual backup capabilities for Hyper-V 2012, 2012 R2, and VMware platforms. Even if you are not utilizing virtualization software in your environment, we still invite you to fill out the application if you are interested in Beta Testing as we are still providing various bug fixes and enhancements throughout the application and value your input.


I previously tested NovaBACKUP, why do I have to re-apply?

While we appreciate all of the feedback from our beta users over the course of the company's history, NovaBACKUP version 16.0 has a strong focus on enhancing our virtualization-specific feature set and our traditional beta testing did not quite meet the rigorous demands this industry requires. With that in mind, we are limiting the number and type of users to those customers who will be best able to evaluate these features.

As previously stated, however, our team will still be accepting a limited number of users who are not primarily virtualization-focused customers. Our team is happy invite all interested parties to apply, regardless of their virtualization usage. However, non-virtualization testers will be limited in the free-license giveaway at the end of the Beta period


How do I qualify for a free copy of Business Essentials?

To show our appreciation for the top participants who provide relevant feedback to the NovaBACKUP version 16.0 Beta Program, we will be delivering Not For Resale copies of NovaBACKUP Business Essentials version 16.0 with one year of NovaCare Premium (a $499 USD value).

Throughout the Preview, Alpha, and Beta program process, we will be publishing surveys to collect feedback relating to your usage as well as collating any feedback left for our team on the NovaBACKUP Beta Forums. For customers who are not testing the virtualization features of NovaBACKUP 16.0 (NovaBACKUP Professional and Server customers), there may be additional licenses distributed based on response rates and global participation numbers.


I want to participate in the Beta, what do I need to do?

For the preview, alpha, and beta tests of NovaBACKUP version 16.0, NovaStor, Inc will be moving from our traditionally open beta format to an Invitation / Qualified Beta program. All users - regardless of whether you previously participated in our Beta programs or not - will need to apply via the link below:



Limitations / Restrictions

Employees and family members of NovaStor, Inc or NovaStor GmbH are not eligible to receive any rewards derived from this Beta Program regardless of feedback provided. Only one Not For Resale license of Business Essentials, Server, or Professional will be provided per participant or company. Licenses of Business Essentials, Server, or Professional that are delivered will be "Not For Resale" and are for personal or corporate use only and are not to be given or sold to a third party. NovaCare Premium subscription starts upon date of delivery of license key, no exceptions provided.
