Guide on how to create a one-time manual image backup
This guide will provide step-by-step instructions on how to create a one-time, manual image backup. This process is only meant to create a one-time image backup and all of the steps have to be done manually; there is a way to create a scheduled image backup job as well. If you wish to have image backups run on a set schedule please follow this article regarding creating a scheduled image backup job with retention policy to delete oldest image backups automatically.

Click on the "Image Backup" button.

Click on "Launch Image Backup Tool for Backup/Restore/Boot CD Creation".

Click on "Backup".

Click "Next"

From here choose the disk or partition you want to backup. Keep the "Backup type" to "Full" and leave the "Image type" to "Used sectors". Next click on browse to select where you would want to backup to. You ideally want to store backups on a different, perhaps, external drive so that if your system does crash, you have your image backup on a complete different physical drive where you can now perform restores of that image. Make sure to have the "Compress the backup" option checked. Once you have double checked your selections you can click "Next".

Double check your settings, then click "Finish".

Wait for the Image Backup to process (this can take some time).

Once the backup says, "Process Complete" you will have successfully created an image backup.
