app_tracelog.svclog grows too large

In large CMC environments you may see the apptracelog

C:\Program Files (x86)\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP Central Management Console\Service\Logs\app_tracelog.svclog

growing to an alarming rate.

 

In order to disable tracelog..

Open C:\Program Files (x86)\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP Central Management Console\Service\ManagementServer.Service.WindowsServiceHost.exe.config using notepad.

 

Change the following information...

</add>
<add initializeData="Logs\app_messages.svclog" type="System.Diagnostics.XmlWriterTraceListener, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" name="None">
<filter type=""/>
</add>
