A Database Error Occurred Error Number: Invalid column name 'NumberOfLicenses'.

Mary Moran Sep 26, 2012 04:05AM PDT

Everything was backing up splendidly until a few days ago when the backup was no longer able to run successfully.

I just noticed this error in the bottom left corner of my screen:

A Database Error Occurred
Error Number:

Invalid column name 'NumberOfLicenses'.

Can you help?

Hi Mary,

I will be happy to find a solution to your question. First can you please send me a little more information in order for me to narrow down the possible solution to this problem?

If you could, a copy of some of your log files might help us better understand the issues you are experiencing. Please follow the instructions below for information on which files and information we can use to better diagnose the issue:

1) A copy of your Backup Job (.NBK) located in:

\My Documents\NovaBackup\Scripts\

2) A copy of the Log file for a failed backup

3) A system info report (.NFO):

  • If you are a xSP / RWF System Administrator submitting logs for the NovaStor Storage Server, please also include any user-specific logs in addition to the server’s MasterLog.txt – Check your Configuration Manager for your log file location *

Click on START, select Run and type: MSINFO32. This will open the MSINFO diagnostic panel.

Please wait for two minutes. Once System Information has been open and populated for 2 minutes, select FILE and then Save. NOTE: Do NOT select Export as we need the .NFO file not a standard .TXT file).

Please name this file: Lastname_Firstname-MSINFO.NFO

NOTE: You MUST ZIP / compress this report report file before sending via email.
