incremental backup

Bryan Jan 09, 2013 10:49AM PST

for all its apparent capability, I can't see how to:

1) create a date specific folder based on the day that the backup is run. eg I want to keep a daily version of my files.

2) The backup (files in the destination folder) appear to be in a proprietry format. I want to be able to just go there and open them normally.

3) I don't want a weekly full backup. How do I turn this "feature" off?

4) How can I get the names of the files "backed up" in the log?

Thanks

Hello,

I would be happy to provide an answer to your questions.
You would go to the schedule tab and choose the schedule that is set to run weekly and right click to modify the schedule or hold the schedule. If this schedule was created in the express wizard you would go to the express wizard and choose edit, pick the schedule to edit and change it accordingly.
You would be able to view the files in their native format in the media view under the restore tab by choosing the media file and navigating to the file you want to retrieve and restore the single file through the software. You could also view the files in the media view library to see what files were backed up as well. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask,
Andre
