NovaBACKUP can now include cloud storage space with new license key purchases.

If you are interested in NovaBACKUP-hosted cloud storage, NovaBACKUP Online Sales (ols@novabackup.com +1.805.435.0067) handles email promotions, subscription changes, account changes, and change of address, online purchasing, and returns.

This article is designed to walk you through how to create and connect to your Cloud Storage from within the NovaBACKUP software. If you are connecting a machine to your existing Cloud Storage bucket associated with your license key, please see Getting Started: Connecting to an existing NovaBACKUP Cloud Storage account (multiple activation license keys).

Download and Install NovaBACKUP, then open it.

Select "Cloud Backup" on the Home tab.

Create an Account by selecting [Register]

Create a new account on the License Management Center if you do not already have one.

Your Email Address is going to be the username that you login to the NovaBACKUP License Management Center (https://login.novabackup.com)

Note: The Password here needs to be at least 8 characters long and must contain one capital letter, one numerical and one special character.

Once you click next it will ask you to create credentials for your Cloud Storage Account. You can also choose which country you want your cloud data stored in.

Provide a memorable Cloud Storage Account name

Provide and confirm an Encryption Key in which all the data will be stored and encrypted in the Cloud.

This Encryption Key will encrypt your data, as such YOU CANNOT RESET THIS KEY, and if you forget it, YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO ACCESS YOUR DATA.

Confirm your License Key is correct and go to the next page and confirm the data is correct. After you press confirm all of the accounts will be created and the Cloud Storage device will be created in NovaBACKUP.

Once you press the confirm button it can take upwards of 2 minutes for everything to get created.
