Cause:

This states that the TPD file could not be written onto the clients file system, because the file system is read-only.

Resolve:

This happens only if the tpd=c option is set in the backup job.

Check the clients Hiback/CONDEV file for the setting &tapedir or, if set, &tpddir.&tapedir is the default location for the TPD file.

The value of &tapedir and/or &tpddir must be a directory on a writable file system.
