In order to backup a Hyper-V guest OS, you will need to do the following:

Install the software onto the Host to backup each Guest, and be able to restore that guest

If the guests do not show up as a selection in the host file tree... ensure Volume ShadowCopy Service is running on host

Have snapshots enabled (enabled by default in new jobs) in the backup job:

Properties > Advanced > Options > Windows Options > Enable Snapshots

That should allow you to backup Hyper-V guest OS's
