Deleting your NovaBACKUP job script (.NBK) files manually
NovaBACKUP
To delete the physical NovaBACKUP job script files (.NBK file extension) stored on your computer, if you do not just want to remove the entries from your schedule so that they do not attempt to run automatically, then you will have to navigate to where the job script files are stored on your hard drive and those default job storage paths are as follows:
If using a newer Operating System your NovaBACKUP job script files (.NBK file extension) will be placed inside these sub-folders by default:
"C:\ProgramData\NovaStor\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\AppWizard\"
"C:\ProgramData\NovaStor\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\Backup\"
"C:\ProgramData\NovaStor\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\Copy\"
"C:\ProgramData\NovaStor\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\DR\"
"C:\ProgramData\NovaStor\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\Restore\
"C:\ProgramData\NovaStor\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\Utility\"
If using an older Operating System, Windows XP or Server 2003, your NovaBACKUP job script files (.NBK file extension text files) will be placed inside these sub-folders by default:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\NovaStor\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\AppWizard\"
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\NovaStor\NovaStor NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\Backup\"
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\NovaStor\NovaStor NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\Copy\"
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\NovaStor\NovaStor NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\DR\"
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\NovaStor\NovaStor NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\Restore\"
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\NovaStor\NovaStor NovaBACKUP\UserScripts\YourUserName\Utility\"
Check all of those default folders for where NovaBACKUP job script files are located and delete all of the .NBK job script files in the referenced paths to permanently remove them. If you have an entry on your Schedule tab that ties in to one of those job scripts then you WILL BE REQUIRED to also delete each entry that you physically deleted the job file for by right-click on the Scheduled entry from the Schedule tab screen to remove that entry from NovaBACKUP if you are ever to remove the physical job script file associated to that Scheduled entry. You may in addition to this have stored NovaBACKUP job files in a folder other than the default location, if that is the case you would search your entire Computer for *.NBK and delete those entries manually after receiving the search result.
