Configuration Manager - Dashboard
General description
This dialog box allows you to specify:
- What messages (info, warning, and error messages) should be shown on the dashboard.
- The period of time for showing results.
- Whether an e-mail containing the message should be sent for info, warning, or error messages which occur during the back job.
- E-Mail Notes:
- You must configure SMTP server settings before E-Mail notifications will work. See Configuration Manager - Mail Server
- You must add an e-mail address to the default "admin" account to receive messages from the Dashboard.
- These e-mail notifications will be sent to the e-mail address associated with the default "admin" user account only.
Opening the dialog
- Go to the menu bar and click on
Configuration.
⇨ The dialog box Configuration with the tab Dashboard opens.
Descriptions
Options | Descriptions |
Refresh rate | Refreshes the display on the dashboard based on the time selected. |
Availability threshold | The percentage for the availability threshold. If the percentage of completed backup jobs on a single day is below this threshold, the bar for that day is marked red. |
Pane Info Messages | |
Show | Enabled: If an Info Message is output during the backup, it is shown on the dashboard for a defined period of time. Disabled: No Info Message is shown on the dashboard. |
E-Mail notification | Enabled: Sends an e-mail as soon as an info message is output during the backup. |
Pane Warning Messages | |
Show | Enabled: If a warning message is output during the backup, it is shown on the dashboard for a defined period of time. Disabled: No warning message is shown on the dashboard. |
E-Mail notification | Enabled: Sends an e-mail as soon as a warning message is output during the backup. |
Pane Error Messages | |
Show | Enabled: If an error message is output during the backup, it is shown on the dashboard for a defined period of time. Disabled: No error message is shown on the dashboard. |
E-Mail notification | Enabled: Sends an e-mail as soon as an error message is output during the backup. |
Pane Licensing Messages | |
Show | Enabled: A licensing message is output for the defined period before the license expires. |
E-Mail notification | Enabled: Sends an e-mail as soon as the licensing message is output. |
[Save] | Saves the entries and closes the window. |
[Close] | Closes the window without saving the entry. |
