Explanation on Graphics for Product Builder

Explanation on Field Descriptions of Product Builder.

Note: For all BMP files they must be saved in 24-bit files, not 16 or 32.

​Note: For .ICO files we recommend using iConvert to convert to a Windows .ICO file. iConvert will accept much larger resolution files and automatically resize it to a proper Windows .ICO file supporting transparency. All .ICO files support the following resolutions:

 

  • 16x16
  • 24x24
  • 32x32
  • 48x48
  • 64x64
  • 128x128
  • 256x256

 

1. Banner Left

  • Type: BMP (bitmap image file)
  • Dimensions: 175x320
  • Resolution : 72 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description : Installer left side image
  • Example File Name : oem_banner_left.bmp

2. Bottom Left

  • Type: BMP (bitmap image file)
  • Dimensions: 232x60
  • Resolution: 300 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Bottom left company logo
  • This image supports transparency by using a solid RGB color. In order to create some transparency please use RGB code 255:0:255.
  • Example File Name: oem_bottom_left.bmp

3. Icon

  • Type: ICO (Icon Image format)
  • Dimension : 64x64
  • Resolution : 96 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Program Icons (Program Launcher)
  • Example File Name: oem_icon.ico

4. Logo

  • Type: ICO (Icon image format)
  • Dimension : 32x32
  • Resolution : 96 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Program Icons
  • System Tray Icon
  • Example File Name: oem_logo.ico

5. Logo

  • Type: PNG (Portable Network Graphics)
  • Dimension: 24x24
  • Resolution: 72 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Upper left logo overlay
  • Use transparent background for this image
  • Example File Name: Oem_logo.png

6. Long Banner Left

  • Type :BMP (bitmap image file)
  • Dimension: 175x500
  • Resolution: 72 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Registration/About screen
  • Used on the registration and HELP >About Screens in this Application
  • Example File Name : oem_long_banner_left.bmp

8. Setup Header

  • Type: BMP (bitmap image file)
  • Dimension: 600x70
  • Resolution: 96 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Installer header page
  • Banner at the top of the installer
  • Example File Name: Oem_setup_header.bmp

9. Setup Page

  • Type: BMP (bitmap image file)
  • Dimensions: 600x346
  • Resolution: 72 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Installer setup page
  • Use the banner left image as the graphic and leave the right side of the image white for the installation text.
  • Example File Name: oem_setup_page.bmp

10. Splash

  • Type: BMP (bitmap image file)
  • Dimensions: 602x441
  • Resolution: 300 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Splash / Launch screen
  • Make sure you leave space in the bottom right corner for the loading text
  • Example File Name: oem_splash.bmp

11. Animated 1

  • Type: ICO (icon image format)
  • Dimensions: 24x24
  • Resolution: 96 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Animated Tray Icon
  • To indicate program activity in the system tray
  • Example File Name: oem_anim_1.ico

12. Animated 2

  • Type: ICO (icon image format)
  • Dimensions: 24x24
  • Resolution: 96 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Animated Tray Icon
  • To indicate program activity in the system tray

  • Description: Requirements/Preinstall Banner
  • Displayed when requirements are shown
  • Example File Name: oem_setup_banner.bmp

19. Setup Icon

  • Type: ICO (icon image format)
  • Dimension: 24x24
  • Resolution: 96 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Installer and installer window icon
  • Icon used for the installation program and shows in upper left corner after installer is launched.
  • Example File Name : oem_setup_icon.ico

20. Express Wizard

  • Type: BMP (bitmap image file)
  • Dimensions: 192x670
  • Resolution: 300 DPI (dots per inch)
  • Description: Express Wizard Side Panel
  • This is the side panel graphic for the express wizard panel.
