Problem
You attempt an Image Backup to a Network Location and receive the errors:
Operation Failed: Process completed with errors.
Error e001001d: An internal error occurred. - Job processing failure
The message being generated in your Windows Event logs when an Image Backup is attempted to a network location is:
Error MM/DD/YY HH:MM:SS DRBACKUP 2
... failure: Backup failed due to invalid credentials specified for the destination.
Resolution
When performing an Image Backup to a network share, you must always provide credentials to connect to that share.
The method of choice is to Create a NAS Device for NovaBACKUP

Or once you enter a Destination that is on the network, an [Access] button will appear:
For Scheduled Image Backups
For Manual (One-Time) Image Backups
If this still does not work:
Enter the IP address of the destination network share instead of the DNS Name. This will bypass most cached Windows Credentials.
ex: \\192.168.x.x\Technical Support\... instead of \\ag-fileserver\Technical Support\...
