If you see this kind of issue when attempting to view a log in NovaBACKUP client, and the Windows pop-up error looks like this, then you may need this guide:
To reset the LogViewer temp folder:
- Close NovaBACKUP and any open LogViewer windows
- Open File Explorer
- Navigate to %localAppData%
- Type that exactly as shown, including the '%' percent signs, the expected result is to open C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local
- Delete the directory named NovaStor_Corporation
- Open the software
- Open a job log
- The job should open in LogViewer.exe properly now.
