Note: The contents and instructions in this article apply to all versions of the NovaBACKUP backup client and LogViewer.exe (the later being the app utilized when you view a job log via Logs tab). There is also a related Support KB article to view which applies to all versions: "LogViewer.exe text too small" (Related to Windows DPI / Scaling settings). The instructions here only reset the Window Size and Window Position settings for NovaBACKUP backup client and LogViewer applications back to the defaults, it will not reset or affect anything else.
There are times when the NovaBACKUP backup client or the LogViewer application Window Size or Window Position can get into a state where a client or LogViewer program window cannot be moved or resized to allow you to control everything on screen. In that case we have provided the instructions on how to reset both the Window Size and the Window Position of the backup client and the LogViewer app would have the user delete the following single config file and Window registry key, seen highlighted on the left side, of the screenshot below. Please note that NovaBACKUP as an application was designed for 1024x768 video resolution, and so it may not be able to handle 2K to 4K type of video resolution properly or exactly for all windows that the application could create, the applications have only been tested up to 1080P (1920x1080 resolution) for all actions. NovaBACKUP and LogViewer also were never tested with DPI set out of normal or scaling set out of normal, so if you do utilize a Custom DPI setting like 150% or 200% various windows that the application will display may not display correctly in that case. We cannot guarantee these two applications will be able to display seamlessly (perfectly) on very high or very low video resolutions, such as a 4K video resolution for instance.
Here are the Instructions on how you can attempt to fix the Window Size or Window Position related issues, at one stage we remove the LogViewer settings file which contains that Window Size/Position info, as well as the NovaBACKUP backup client Registry key related only to Window Size/Position:
Note: The instructions here will ONLY reset your Window Size and Window Position settings back to the defaults, as though you performed a clean install of both of the mentioned NovaBACKUP applications, it won't reset anything else NovaBACKUP application related, as long as the steps are performed as detailed.

Reboot your computer and make sure it is in the correct video resolution.

Exit out of the NovaBACKUP backup client and all Logs being viewed with LogViewer.exe process.

Check your Windows Task Manager to look for 'LogViewer.exe' as a process (in the Details tab) and end ALL of those named processes.

Delete 'C:\Program Files\NovaStor\NovaStor NovaBACKUP\LogViewer.exe.config' (or if you did a Custom install of the client then locate the file in the root of the "NovaStor NovaBACKUP" folder, wherever you told the program to custom install to, as a single file via Win Explorer.

Then run NovaBACKUP and view a log in the Logs tab, then try the upper right hand controls to maximize, minimize, etc. If it still does not work correctly then please proceed to additional steps to take.

Exit out of the NovaBACKUP backup client.

Delete the Window registry key via regedit.exe command, after browsing to this path in the top enter key path / address section: 'Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP\Window'
Then right-click and do a delete only on the "Window" key. This will only remove all of the "Window size" and Window position related information for the NovaBACKUP backup client, and will reset to the defaults for those window size/positions like you would have seen after a clean install of the app. -
Repeat step 4 again.

Then repeat step 5 again and see if that makes it work, if it did not work then proceed to check our Support KB article on Log text is too small related to your DPI / Scaling settings in Windows which possibly could be related to this issue, the article is below in Step 11.

Exit out of NovaBACKUP backup client and LogViewer and perform a Repair of NovaBACKUP by running the same version of NovaBACKUP Setup application as what is currently installed (or you can do a right-click Modify/Uninstall on the NovaBACKUP item via Programs and Features area of Windows). You you will then click on Maintenance or Change Features, and there should be a Repair option there to utilize, and that should replace your LogViewer.exe as a file to overwrite the existing file (doing this will keep all of the existing configuration files (the Step 4 file) and registry key (the Step 7 key) info in place however and won't reset or delete those items, it will only replace the .exe, in case it is damaged somehow). Then repeat Step 5 again.
