There is currently nothing a customer needs to do to transfer a license key from one machine to another except to make sure the key is no longer in use at the original location.
The best way to ensure the key is no longer is use is to uninstall the software on the first machine before installing it on the new machine and activating your license key.
All NovaStor products come with free evaluation periods lasting at least two weeks, and are complete versions of the software for that time, to allow you a seamless transfer period.
If you are concerned that a previous machine shows up on your lifetime activations on the NovaCare status page, fear not! Only concurrent activations will count towards your license limit, and the displayed number is the number of unique hardware keys have been activated by your license key.
The only thing you MUST verify before attempting to activate the software on a new machine is that your license key is valid for the current version of the software (or the version of the software you are installing).
You can verify the version of the software you are installing will work with your new machine in the changelog.
