NovaBACKUP CMon v18.x and newer
An Anti Virus Software (AVS) may block not only malware but also regular applications. To avoid effects on the CMon, configure exception rules for the CMon in your AVS. Since each AVS has to be configured differently, NovaStor can only give you general hints on excluded directories, files and processes. Depending on AVS, please include the following components in the exception rules (you may have to include several components):
CMon folders
"C:\Program Files (x86)\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP Central Management Console"
CMon files/executables
"C:\Program Files (x86)\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP Central Management Console\Service\ManagementServer.Service.WindowsServiceHost.exe"
"C:\Program Files (x86)\NovaStor\NovaBACKUP Central Management Console\WebRoot\Web\bin\ManagementServer.WebServer.WindowsServiceHost.exe"
CMon processes
ManagementServer.Service.WindowsServiceHost.exe
ManagementServer.WebServer.WindowsServiceHost.exe
